Paul Zagaris

I’m a Mortgage Loan Originator dedicated to helping homebuyers and homeowners navigate the lending process with confidence. Growing up in a real estate family in Modesto, California, I developed an early appreciation for the importance of homeownership and the impact it has on families.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Law & Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara before spending a year studying abroad in Spain and traveling throughout Europe. I later received my Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where I focused on contracts while working in mortgage quality control during law school.

Since entering the mortgage industry in 2004, I’ve helped clients finance homes across a wide range of loan programs, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, investment property, and refinance transactions. I combine a strong understanding of lending guidelines with a practical, solutions-oriented approach to help borrowers overcome challenges and close on time.

As a fluent English and Spanish speaker, I believe communication and education are just as important as competitive rates. I take pride in explaining the mortgage process in plain language, keeping clients informed every step of the way, and finding financing strategies that best fit their long-term goals.
